As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is 1,5 line spacing; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
A manuscript file with no author’s identification should be submitted to http://www.ijmp.jor.br. To do this the author must login into the site and pass through the five friendly steps of submission. We highlight the following points of the submission process:
·At step 1, “Starts”, the author should choose the option “Articles”, as the journal section to submit his paper. While in this step, the author should verify the submission checklist and also agree with the copyright terms for submission.
·At step 2, “Enter Metadata” the author should provide his directions ad full mailing information. Note that the email of all authors is required to continuous the submission process. At this step the author should also inform its biography.
·At step 3, “Upload submission”, the author uploads the manuscript file, with no author’s identification. This file needs to include the abstract and keywords of the paper. This file should be in MSWord, RFT, or Open Office format.
·At step 4, “Upload supplementary files”, the author should upload a file with the full authors data, including mail address, e-mail, photography and biography. The author can use this file to include acknowledges he want to appear in the paper. The data supplied in this file should appear in the paper, if it become published.
·At step 5, the author can check and confirm or not the paper submission.
Alternatively, manuscripts can also be submitted directly to ijmp@ijmp.jor.br, together with a cover page with the author’s details, including their emails, biography and full address.
General Instructions
The article should be done on an A4 paper size (ISO 210 x 297 mm), 1,5 line spacing, wide margins and Times New Roman font, 12, justified. Articles should have within 6,000 and 10,000 words in length (papers below or exceeding this limit will not be considered for reviewing). The following sequence for the paper structure is suggested: title; abstract; keywords; introduction; main body; conclusions; acknowledgements when applicable; and references.
Title
A not too long title should be provided. The title should precisely accomplish the main idea of the paper and must be typed in Times New Roman, 12, all caps, centered.
Authors’ Affiliation and Biography
Authors’ names, photography and details must not be included anywhere in the article. Instead, a brief autobiographical note (about 100 words) must be supplied, including full name, affiliation, email address and full international contact details, on a separated sheet of paper.
Abstract and Keywords
Authors must supply an abstract (250-500 words). Up to 5 keywords should be included which encapsulate the principal subjects covered by the article. The abstract should mention the objective, the research method and main contributions of the paper.
Introduction
The introduction should contain information intended for all readers of the journal, not just for specialists. It should describe the problem statement, its relevance, significant results and conclusions from prior works and also the objectives of the work described in the manuscript submitted.
Research Methodology
It should be clearly described under a separate heading. The methodology must justify the main results presented in the paper.
Headings
Headings must be short, clearly defined and not numbered. Heading sections should be typed boldface, all in capital letters, flush with left-hand margin. Leave one line before and after headings. Subheadings should be typed bold-faced, flush with left-hand margin and only the first letter of each word should be capitalized. Notes or endnotes should not be used.
Main Text and Subject
Times New Roman, 12, 1,5 line spacing, justified. Paragraphs should not have any space indention.
Figures and Tables
Figures and tables must be included in the main text and, individually, numbered and captioned with a brief title. They must be black and white with minimum shading and numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals. Captions should be put below figures and above tables. Leave one line before (tables) and after (figures).
Equations
Equations should be typed flush with the left-hand margin and numbered consecutively with the numbers in brackets, justified on the right. Leave one line above and before equations.
References
References to other publications should be complete and in Harvard style. They should contain full bibliographical details and journal titles should not be abbreviated. For multiple citations in the same year use a, b, c, d, e immediately following the year of the publication. References should be shown within the text by giving the author's last name followed by a comma and year of publication, all in round brackets, e.g.
(RODRIGUES; MARINS; SOUZA, 2012). There should be, at the end of the article, a reference list, in alphabetical order, as following:
