FEASIBILITY STUDY OF GREEN SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT IMPLEMENTATION IN ZARMAKARON COMPANY

Abstract

Along with rapid change in global manufacturing scenario, environmental and social issues are becoming more important in managing any business. Green supply management (GSCM) is one of the corporate environmental management that has been adopted by manufacturing firms. It indents to reduce or minimize negative environmental impacts. This research aims to investigate the Green Supply Chain Management practices, likely to be adopted by Zarmakaron Company of Iran. The statistical population consists of experts and managers in this company, and our sample population using limited sample size formula is 51.For gathering data we used questionnaires, and In order to assess the validity we referred to advisors, supervisors, and some experts. The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated using SPSS and Cranachs alpha Coefficient obtained to be 0.856, indicating the reliability of the research tool. Data analysis and hypothesis testing have done through T-Student test by SPSS software, which results showed that 2 hypotheses are proved, and GSCM could be implemented from 2 perspectives in this company.
